Si l’animal remonte à plus de 50 millions d’année, l’ensemble est né en 2022, d’un simple désir d’improvisation outre-frontière.

Réunissant des improvisateurs férus de langages contemporain, le groupe explore les formes de l’improvisation libre en travaillant sur la permanence et la transformation, le stable et l’imprévisible.

L’ensemble réunit, sous différentes configurations : XAVIER CHARLES (clarinette) BARBARA DANG (piano) PETER ORINS (batterie), AUDREY LAURO (saxophone alto) ANNE-F JACQUES (objets) et ÉRIC NORMAND (basse électrique).

If the animal is 450 million years old, the band is born in 2022 to fulfill a desire for improvisation.

Gathering of improvisers exploring contemporary languages, the ensemble explores the forms of free improvisation by working with permanence and transformation, the stable and the unpredictable.
